CONFLICT MINERAL POLICY

At DepotStar, Inc. we apply our core value to our business activities everyday: supplying our customers with high quality service in all aspects of our business. Consistent with this, we understand our responsibility to “due diligence” and will ensure that our business does not support conflict and human rights violations in the DRC and surrounding countries.

In the U.S., section 1502 of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act that requires companies to provide annual disclosures to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that ensure materials that are used in production are not sourced from illegal mining operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

These disclosures are required to prevent armed militias participating in an ongoing civil war in the area named the “Conflict Region” where many metals found in today’s electrical components are mined at the expense of human lives. These metals, specifically those identified as 3TG:

– Wolframite (Tungsten)
– Cassiterite (Tin)
– Columbite‐Tantalite (Tantalum)
– Gold

DepotStar, Inc. supports the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act in promoting supply chain transparency in regards to “conflict minerals” in the effort to cut direct funding of armed groups inciting conflict and human rights violations in the “Conflict Region”. With this, DepotStar, Inc. does not purchase directly or knowingly procure any components that include the 3TG metals illegally sourced from the Conflict Region.

Given that DepotStar, Inc. provides a valued service involving the manufacture of products that include “Conflict Minerals”, we strive for transparency in our supply chain regarding the origin and acquisition of minerals contained in our products. We will continue to do our due diligence and encourage our suppliers to do the same in adopting policies that prohibit the purchase of minerals sourced from the Conflict Region.
